We’re all concerned about the health and welfare of family, friends, colleagues and loved one at this time and our first and foremost message is to hope you are well and safe during this time.

Here at AIP we’re supporting UK live music and club promoters through this crisis. To do this, we’ve relaxed rules on membership and have opened up our help to any concert or club promoter. The most important thing right now is that we all get through this.

Our focus is on live music promoters and club promoters. The support mechanisms for you are at the top of this list. However all of our promoters are also concerned for the welfare and future of artists, musicians, DJs, venues, managers, live & Dj agents, ticketing agencies, songwriters, composers, crew and the many many others who come together to make events happen. There’s many good organisations supporting these particular sectors, so we’ve compiled a list of these below which we hope will help you now and in the future.

PROMOTER SUPPORT :

The Association of Independent Promoters has an active, closed Facebook Group and a Covid-19 focussed WhatsApp group. If you’re an independent promoter or an independent venue that promotes in-house you can join the Facebook Group HERE and then you’ll also see a link to the WhatsApp Group. Within those pages and groups we are constantly updating and sharing Govt and other agency support when it is appropriate for promoters. The AIP is also running regular, short, impact surveys to gather data and evidence around priority issues, which, of course, change quickly. We’re working and achieving short term solutions on the sector’s behalf in conjunction with other agencies and organisations, and also developing some longer term support for promoters. If you have any issues accessing support or there’s things you want to discuss privately then email john@aiporg.com

We now have particular focussed support for promoters working in Wales. In addition to the links above, pls email john@aiporg.com if you’re a Wales-based promoter who has cancelled shows or has lost upcoming shows and income because of Covid-19.
